With the help of our current supporters we are focusing our efforts especially on achieving our ambitious goals. We firmly believe that every contribution can help to make a difference.

We are UK registered charity working to improve the lives’ of the poor of Afghanistan. We have an intimate understanding of the situation in Afghanistan and so are able to work quickly and closely with community leaders, communities and government officials to help achieve this goal.

We have been established since 2004 and with the help of our supporters in the UK, USA and Europe we have been able to make a difference to lives’ of many poor children, women, families and communities.

We focus on orphaned children, women many of whom are widows, the injured and the disabled, by improving access to the basic necessities of life and so helping to give a better future.

Our focus is the poor and vulnerable Afghanistan who has suffered in the wars of the past and continue to do so till today. The daily lives of the poor have not improved as the conflict and fighting continues to increase, the infrastructure remains shattered and the number of refugees forcibly being repatriated is increasing. Severe hardship is still an everyday occurrence for the millions of poor in Afghanistan, especially the orphans who still face a bleak future.

Our priority areas of focus are:

• Building water wells so that people can have clean water to drink.
• Building orphanages, which provide a safe and supportive environment for orphaned children.
• Providing emergency food aid to refugees.
• Providing short and long-term shelters.
• Providing medical aid and medicine.
• Providing educational and learning facilities.

Afghanistan is mountainous and suffers severe winters at the higher altitudes, with summers that are warm in high areas, but very hot at lower levels. This has resulted in drought being declared by the government in many areas. We have worked for the past four years in the following areas to help make a difference to the daily lives of many poor communities:
